Microsoft is thumping so hard to try to get people to upgrade to Windows 10, they've even built-in an annoying little pop-up window reminder to upgrade within the Windows 8.1 operating system that pops up once a day now. I haven't tried it on Windows 10, but I somehow thought that Windows 10 has even more limitations with older software installations than Windows 8 or Windows 7. I get this message on 3 different Windows 8.1 machines when I try to install this Minolta software. In Windows 8.1, with original Minolta Dimage Scan Elite software installer disc, when I launch the installer, it's a system message (not a message from the software installer disc itself) that comes up on the screen that says. of course, that's dependent on whether or not Minolta's scanning software would ever install. I'm interested about what you said in reference to the Vue Scan software driver for the Minolta scanners working with Minolta's own original scanning software, even if the Vue Scan software hasn't been purchased or registered yet. I just installed to original Dimage Scan software under Windows 10 for my Dimage Scan Elite II.Ĭan you tell me the process you went through in Windows 10 for the ORIGINAL Dimage Scan software you speak about, please?
